ThermoKeeper Pie and Cake Shippers contain “environmentally green” insulating liners that are designed to create a temperature-controlled shipping system that is biodegradable and thermally sound. For added protection, the liners fit snuggly into a protective, corrugated outer box.
The inner and outer surface of the ThermoKeeper liner consist of a biodegradable film that is perforated to allow unwanted moisture to migrate away from the payload area and be absorbed into the recycled-fiber pad.
Sandwiched between the films, and sealed on all sides, is a proprietary, biodegradable, super-insulating pad made from recycled, purified, organic textile fibers. Superabsorbent powders (for absorption of spills or condensation), have been bonded to the fibers during the thermal sterilization process in manufacturing.
This unique system, combined with the strategic placement of the refrigerant, makes the ThermoKeeper Pie and Cake Shipper an ideal thermal- protective shipping system not only for Pies and Cakes but, also, for other temperature-sensitive food products.
