ThermoFreeze
is the first and only "truly" biodegradable refrigerant bottle that can biodegrade in either aerobic (compost) or anaerobic (landfill) environments.

The biodegradable process used in creating the ThermoFreeze™ biodegradable refrigerant plastic containers, expands the molecular structure of the plastic cover, altering the polymer chain and adding nutrients and other organic compounds which weaken the polymer and attract microbial activity (creating an irresistible morsel). This activity subjugates in and around the plastic, and begins to quickly break down the plastic. Most plastic products on the market today cannot attract enough (if any) microbial activity to begin breaking down the polymer's molecular structure, thus leaving the process of reclamation to light, heat, mechanical stress and moisture.

Our ThermoFreeze™ refrigerant bottles maintain the same physical properties (shelf life, texture, clarity, appearance, oxygen transfer rate, etc) as traditional PET plastic bottles, however, once our bottle-type refrigerant containers are placed in a landfill "microbial" environment, our bottle-type refrigerant containers break down into bio-gases and bio-mass, i.e., inert humus, leaving behind no harmful materials.
